Visa Information for CITIZENS of
Trinidad and Tobago
Countries where NO
entry visa is required for Trinidad and
Tobago citizens:
- Entry as "tourists" for a period not
exceeding three months
- Brazil
- Colombia
- Israel
- Liechtenstein
- Norway
- South Korea
- Switzerland
- Turkey
- Diplomatic or official passport holders
- Argentina
- Italy (for tourism or brief official mission
not exceeding ninety (90) days)

recommended to have above information confirmed by your travel agent or
Embassy / Consulate / High Commission of the country you intend to travel
to.
Visa Information for VISITORS to
Trinidad and Tobago
Passports valid for the duration of the stay in
Trinidad and Tobago are required for all arrivals.
All persons require visas to enter Trinidad and
Tobago. However due to historical ties and
bilateral agreements Citizens of several countries are not
required to have visas for entry into
Trinidad and Tobago for tourist purposes.
- Citizens of the following countries do
not require visas:
- Commonwealth countries except
Australia, India, New Zealand, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Sri
Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa.
- European Union Countries (Austria, Belgium,
Denmark, United Kingdom, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden).
- Citizens of Countries having visa abolition
agreements with Trinidad and Tobago, namely Turkey, Norway,
Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Israel, Brazil, Colombia, South Korea.
entering as tourists for a period not exceeding three (3) months.
- Citizens of the USA on vacation for sixty
days or less.
- Citizens of Venezuela arriving directly from
Venezuela on vacation for 14 days or less.
- Persons born in, and who continue to be,
citizens of Suriname, Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guyana,
Netherland Antilles (Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, St Eustatius, St
Martin, Saba).
- All holders of OAS passports do
not require visas.
- Holders of UN passports require
visas.
- Holders of Diplomatic Passports are not
automatically exempted from visas.
Checks should be made with the nearest Trinidad and Tobago Consulate
or Diplomatic Mission.
- Special Provisions:
- Bona fide seamen, arriving in Trinidad and
Tobago to join their ships, are exempted from the visa requirement
regardless of their nationality.
- Bona fide operating aircraft crew, regardless
of their nationality, who are in transit in Trinidad and Tobago
for the purpose of rejoining their original aircraft on its return
journey, are exempted from the visa requirement.
Documents required when applying for an entry
visa:
- passport (valid at least for the duration of the
proposed stay);
- two completed visa application forms (obtainable
from the nearest Trinidad and Tobago Consulate or Diplomatic Mission);
- two identical, recent passport-size photographs;
- copy of proposed travel itinerary and flights
(issued by travel agent or airline);
- copy of residence permit (if resident in country
other than country of nationality);
- letter from employer in case of business travel
- appropriate Fee per entry visa (check with
Consulate or Diplomatic Mission).
- In the case of Switzerland:
- SF 56.00 per entry
- SF 5.00 (registered postage -
Switzerland)
- SF 9.00 (registered postage - Austria,
France, Germany, Italy)
Please note that applications for entry visas should
be submitted to the Consulate General at least two weeks before the
proposed departure date.
