Comments: I cannot understand why the British and USA governments wants to bomb a nation of people, because of their holy believes in following a teacher from God and fighting the Russian military. Why O God help Afghan Network and people. If a war hero like bin laden hates the west so what. I pray for him and you and all in Afghanistan. Please in your mercy hear my prayers.

Occupation: Retired
Comments: Please forgive me for using your excellent site for the purpose of family history.
Capt. Thomas Alexander SOUTER of the 44th Regiment of Foot, (later The Essex Regiment), was captured in 1842 during the retreat from Kabul at the Battle of Gundermuck, some twenty miles short of safety at Jalalabad. He was, I believe, the only British officer to survive; having wrapped the Regimental Colours around his torso to save them. During his captivity near Kabul he was well treated, being allowed to correspond with his wife. On his release the Colours were returned to him by his capturers. Should anybody know anything of this incident I would be most interested. Capt. SOUTER was my great great grandfather, two of his daughters marrying two SELLON brothers, but I know nothing further of him

Comments:  Please support the Taliban in it's efforts block U.S. extradition of Osama Bin Laden to the USA for alleged terrorist attacks against U.S. interests abroad. The U.S. criminal justice system is unfair to people
of color and non citizens of the U.S. Usama Bin Laden would never receive a fair trial here. I'm currently working on setting up a support group for this cause ( World Jihad ) www.worldjihad.com, We have passed out fliers in Minnesota on behalf of the Afghan people & Usama Bin Laden as the leader of I've been arrested as well as questioned by the F.B.I. still  remain stead-fast in my support of this cause the F.B.I. refused to show badges but the most high God is with us all. Please pass this message on. Thank You, Timmy Jones SG-2.

Comments: Hi, My name is Saidal. I would just like to take a few minutes and congratulate all the people who took part in the making of this website. It is very informative and diversified. It looks very nice. This website goes right up there with the best afghan websites. good work! The only drawback is the lack of content in pashtu. You can maybe try to add more things in Pashtu. This way, you will show that you care about the pashtun-afghan community in Toronto instead of actually ostracizing them. Please don't take my comments as criticism, they are just suggestions.

Comments: Salam....Although, my parents are from the Paktia region in Afghanistan, particularly Gardez, but I myself have never lived in Afghanistan. I was raised in Frontier in Pakistan. However, I always had a kind of fascination to go to Afghanistan and see the country. I hope peace comes to Afghanistan and Pukhtunistan is once again established uniting all the Pushtuns from Frontier and Afghanistan...Wassalam.
